Description

Gazi is a slightly deeper lying reef that’s offers scuba divers the opportunity to experience larger pelagic fish life around Chale Island. Keep your eyes peeled for kingfish, hunting jacks and even eagle rays. The coral life at Gazi is not as intense as some other sites in South Kenya, but the dive site certainly makes up for it with the fish action to be enjoyed. Look out for stingrays that frequent the overhangs on the eastern side.

Experience Kenya’s Best Dive Sites

A total of 29 dive sites are within a 40 minute ride, which are often accompanied by dolphins, and from November through to February there is the chance to see the gentle giants of the Ocean – the whaleshark.

Kenya has an amazing array of fish life across its reefs, providing fantastic opportunities for underwater photographers and marine enthusiasts alike.
