The PADI Junior Open Water Diver course is for kids aged 10 and over who want to gain a qualification in scuba diving. This course is the passport for many years of underwater discovery and a whole lot of fun too. Theory sessions and skills practice in shallow water lead to four exciting open water dives where the incredible reefs and marine life in the Diani Beach Area of Kenya will make this an experience never to be forgotten. The certification is valid anywhere in the world – let a lifetime of magical underwater adventure begin!
10 and 11 year old Junior Open Water Divers will be certified to dive to 12m only. Young divers, up to the age of 16 years, must always dive with an adult certified diver. Upon reaching 16 years of age, Junior Open Water Divers automatically become fully fledged Open Water Divers.

Make the most of your holiday time with PADI’s eLearning system – complete the study at home, at your own pace, and then dive straight in to complete the water part with us. After registering you will have access to the theory and quizzes, once completed, simply print off your eLearning record and bring it with you. Then it’s time for the real fun to begin!
