I first came to Diving the Crab in 2019 and completed my Junior Scuba diver. I’m now back doing my Divemaster internship. In my first month I finished my Open Water course,and jumped straight into the Advanced Open Water course, excited to dive deeper and improve my skills. Diani’s underwater world is stunning, and every dive just makes me want to learn more.
In addition to diving, I’ve been involved in so many different things over the past month. I start my mornings by helping carry tanks to the boat and getting everything ready for the day’s dives. I’ve had the chance to go on several fun dives, which has been an awesome way to gain confidence in the water. I’ve also spent time at reception, learning how to check in guests and make sure they’re all set for their dives.
The team at Diving the Crab is amazing. Everyone has been so supportive, showing me the ropes and making me feel like part of the family from day one. I’ve helped with social media, maintenance, and even marine restoration projects, which has been really rewarding.
Diani is just as incredible as the people here. The beaches, the marine life—it’s all so beautiful. It’s the perfect place to dive and to be part of an amazing team
I’m super grateful for everything I’ve learned and for the chance to be part of such an awesome crew at Diving the Crab. I’m looking forward to continuing my internship and eventually becoming a professional diver.
